POV: you had the perfect wedding with the most exciting moments and beautiful photos and now it’s all over and you’re crashing big time. The fun doesn’t have to end though! Here are 7 central Texas wedding publications that accept submissions to (hopefully) publish your wedding, so you can be an inspiration to others and your wedding can live on!
1. Wed society – Austin
Wed society is a fun, modern wedding website featuring tons of articles and an entire inspo page! On their submission page for Austin weddings they note that you will hear back within 30 days if your submission has been selected, if you don’t hear anything it has not been accepted.
2. The Knot
If you’ve planned a wedding you’ve probably heard of The Knot. What you might not know is that they have both a digital and print magazine that your wedding could be featured in. In the case of The Knot you will not be able to submit your wedding yourself, but if you really want to submit your wedding you can ask your photographer to do it for you!
3. Brides
Brides is a popular wedding website that offers a wide variety of planning help, advice, and a “real weddings” page which features weddings from all over the world. Keep in mind, when submitting to the Brides “real weddings” page, that a response will take up to two months and your submission will not be considered if it has been featured in a previous publication.
4. Bliss Bridal
Bliss Bridal is a publication that specifically focuses on Central Texas weddings. They do suggest that you check their gallery to make sure that the aesthetics of your photos match their vibe. The submission form is short and easy, all they require is that the pictures have no watermarks.
5. Texas Ever After
Texas Ever After is a website that centers around wedding inspiration specifically in Texas. The owner is from Texas and knows that with the diverse landscapes and varying terrains, no two Texas weddings are the same. You can submit your wedding on their website using their easy to fill out form.
6. Southern Bride
Southern Bride is a planning and inspiration wedding magazine for modern weddings that are a touch more “rustic.” If your wedding is modern and contains all the southern charm this is the publication for you. The drawback of submitting your wedding to this publication is that there is a $35 fee for submission and additional fees if your wedding is selected. So, if you want to submit to Southern Bride make sure you are ready to cover the fees.
7. Texas Weddings
Texas weddings is a Texas based bridal publication that features blogs, galleries, and newsletters to get brides excited and inspired for their big day. They accept submissions from brides for free on their website.
