Hi, I'm Sydney,
For as long as I can remember, I've had a paintbrush in one hand, and a camera in the other.
I’m an outdoorsy, boardgame-loving wedding photographer who wants to turn your special moments into art. My ultimate goal is to capture this precious time in your relationship so you can revisit your special day forever. Based out of Waco, Texas, I travel across the state (and the whole country) to document loving couples.
When I'm not shooting weddings, I'm either painting in my studio or hiking with my husband, Blake.
If I'm not editing a wedding gallery, I'm likley in my art studio in Waco or somewhere outdoors. Even though the temperatures get crazy in Texas, I still love to hike & play tennis.

So how did I get into wedding photography?
Before I was a wedding photographer, I spent many hours drawing hyperrealistic charcoal drawings of couples. Relationships and love were always the focus of my art practice. Though I had a camera and entered my photos into art contests as a child, I didn't have a professional camera until college. During college, I got a job taking holiday portraits and then later took a one-on-one photography class...and the rest is history! I fell in love with photography and had to learn all I could about it. Taking photos of weddings just came natural since couples have always been my favorite subject matter.
