When it comes to your engagement or wedding photoshoot, you don’t want your photos to be stiff or unnatural looking. Luckily for you, posing isn’t something you have to worry about – I’ll walk you through the whole process. I like to add movement to my poses so they look as natural as possible. This is how I am able to capture authentic moments between you and your partner. Here are a few things that you should bring to be prepared for your wedding or engagement photoshoot.
What to Wear
Wear something you feel comfortable and confident in. You want to feel like yourself in your pictures so I can capture the real you. It also makes photos easier because you’re focused on each other instead of your outfit.

Bring a Bag
When at a photoshoot, especially for an engagement session, you will likely have your personal belongings with you, such as your phone, car keys, wallet, and water bottles. There’s nothing wrong with having all the things and being prepared. Bringing a bag to store everything ensures that your items are not showing in your pockets and makes it easy to move them to all the beautiful photo spots so we can get good, clean photos.
If You’ve Got Your Own Style: Bring It
If you have a certain vibe you’re going for, send your pinterest board to me (@sydneyraynephoto). If you don’t have one, but you do have a specific vibe you want, make one! A Pinterest board is the easiest way for you to share your inspiration with me. While I have my own style and take photos based on the moment, I love to incorporate the poses you really want so you can love your gallery and get the unique energy you’re going for.
