Your wedding is arguably the most important and special day of your life. So, it’s no surprise that you would be itching to see all the best moments you remember, and all of the moments you may have missed during your big day. It may feel like it’s taking forever for you to finally get a glance at those photos you’ve been waiting for, but trust me, it’s worth the wait.
How long does it actually take?
Waiting is hard, and if you’re like me, you can’t wait to share your photos with everyone you know. That’s why I like to give you at least 15 photos as sneak peeks within 72 hours. Your sneak peeks can satiate a bit of your longing as you wait on the full gallery to be ready. The full gallery can take anywhere from 6-8 weeks. I know it seems like a long time, but when you do get them you’ll be glad that they are fully edited and ready for all the posting, printing, and admiring that your heart desires.
Why does it take so long?
When you’re waiting on your wedding photos, 6-8 weeks can feel like a lifetime. All of that time is 100% needed. I want to give you the best quality photos you can possibly get. It takes time to get the photos just right. I edit each photo individually while also keeping the overall gallery cohesive. This way, we are telling the story of your wedding and not just giving you a jumble of disjointed pictures.
How is it delivered?
So the wait is finally over and you’re ready to receive your photos. But how do you access them? I’ll send you a link in your email to your online gallery. Navigating the gallery is easy. You’ll open your link to a simple and aesthetic cover page, and scroll down to view the gallery below. You will be able to download any and all of the photos in the gallery in high resolution. There will also be a “shop” tab where you can purchase albums, prints, and other items. And when all your family and friends start to ask you about the photos you can easily share your gallery with as many people as you like.
What to do after you receive your photos?
Now that you have your photos and you know how to view them, you should make a date night out of it! Cuddle up with your spouse on the couch, or share a bottle of wine on an outdoor patio while you look at each photo. Soak up every moment as you relive all the joys of your special day. Sharing those moments can be a great bonding experience. You might even be surprised by some of the things you missed during the wonderful blur that is your wedding day.
While waiting for your photos may seem like it’s taking an eternity, remember, patience is a virtue. You’ll be glad you waited when you see your fully edited and cohesive gallery laid out in front of you. You can look back on the best day of your life with your spouse beside you and be grateful for all the wonderful times that you had frozen forever in time.
